1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the sysadmin.courses website and online educational platform (the “Platform”), operated by sysadmin.courses (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By registering an account or purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To use our Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 12 years old
  • Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement (or have parental / legal guardian consent if you are between 12 and 15 years old)
  • Provide accurate and truthful registration information
  • Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law

3. Account Registration

3.1 Creating an Account

To access courses, you must register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Not share your account with others or allow others to use your credentials

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Courses and Content

4.1 License to Access

Upon purchasing a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the course content for your own personal learning purposes.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute course content
  • Share your account access or course materials with third parties
  • Use course content for commercial purposes without our written permission
  • Record, screenshot, or screen-capture video lessons for distribution
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source materials
  • Use course content to create competing products or services

4.3 Content Accuracy

We strive to ensure all course materials are accurate and up-to-date. However, the field of system administration evolves rapidly. We do not guarantee that course content reflects the latest software versions, security practices, or industry standards at all times. Always verify critical information from official documentation.

5. Purchases and Payments

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed on the Platform and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect already-completed purchases.

5.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

5.3 Invoices

A purchase confirmation and invoice will be sent to your registered email address after a successful transaction.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Refund Eligibility

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on course purchases, provided that:

  • The request is submitted within 14 days of the purchase date
  • You have completed no more than 20% of the course content
  • The refund is for your first purchase of that specific course

6.2 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for the request. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.

6.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • More than 14 days have passed since the purchase
  • More than 20% of course content has been accessed
  • The account is found to have violated these Terms
  • A refund has already been issued for the same course
  • The payment was made in cryptocurrency. Due to the high volatility of cryptocurrencies and the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, such payments are non-refundable.

We aim to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Server or hosting issues

We are not liable for any losses resulting from temporary unavailability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification
